About E. R. Leyva

Author, Philosopher, Thinker.

Ernesto Rodriguez Leyva
“Philosophy that doesn’t work in real life isn’t wisdom—it’s decoration.”

I was born in Havana, shaped by Montreal, and now live in South Florida with my family. Living across radically different cultures gave me an inside-out view of conflicting worldviews—helping me see through the illusions that often pass for "truth."

My formal background is in business, but my real education has been a restless curiosity. For over 15 years, I’ve devoted my time to a single question: What makes life feel truly fulfilling, and what keeps people from it?

My thinking was sparked by Maslow and sharpened by Plato, but I lean heavily toward what’s usable. I prefer first principles, clear language, and logic grounded in lived experience over abstract poetry.

My mission is to distill the noise into actionable clarity. Much of what is called "wisdom" today is vague, overcomplicated, or built on unexamined beliefs. I aim to uncover the essential truths that endure across time and ideology—mental models that help you live better, not just think differently.
